Big Brothers!

It was my big brother's Silver Wedding anniversary today. Well actually it was his anniversary last week but tonight was the first time we could get a decent number of us together to celebrate it. They didn't want a party or anything so invited close family out for dinner. Thing is, even "close" family for us runs into double figures. There was me, Mum, Dad, John and Lizz from "our" side, then my brother and his wife and their 2 daughters, and my brother's mother-in-law and brother-in-law. I never feel too comfortable around my bro's in-laws but it was still nice to have a "family" dinner because we only usually get together at Xmas. I ate and drank more than I should have done but I enjoyed it so that's all that matters.

Baby Nai phoned me when I was on my way home to tell me she'd been to see "Guys and Dolls". She said it was excellent. She managed to get autos from Douglas Hodge and Jane Krakowski so I'm practically green with envy. I've loved Jane Krakowski for years so I'd better meet her when Lou & I go to see the show in October!

Ended up watching the Big Brother re-run when I got in tonight. Not that I've particularly watched any of the series, but I've seen enough to know who everyone is. From what I've seen, I'm glad that Anthony won. I wasn't really bothered who won out of Anthony & Eugene but it's cool that they each have £50,000. I couldn't believe the reaction that Makosi got when she left the house. People were booing at her like there's no tomorrow. Not that I like her of course, but I don't dislike her either. I feel completely indifferent. I just can't believe how many people out there got so worked up about her. She's just a silly little trollop who was on a reality show. Is she really worth the effort of going to the eviction show just so you can jeer at her? Strange people.

Decided I'm going to sort through my holiday video tomorrow. I started doing it today but Mum wanted to watch Jeremy Kyle so I had to stop! There's a LOT of video to organise.
